Conference Venue

McGill New Residence Hall Hotel and Conference Center

Our conference will take place a short walk from downtown Montreal inside the McGill New Residence Hall (NRH) that operates as a hotel and a conference center.

Conference registration, all sessions, and many of the PolNet meal and social events will take place in the conference center on the bottom floor of the complex.

Lodging

  • We encourage you to book your rooms early as the 2014 Grand Prix happens in Montreal June 3-10 and will likely create high demand for hotel rooms in the Montreal downtown area.

New Residence Hall

As the conference will be held in the New Residence Hall complex, for your convenience, we recommend that you book your hotel reservations there as well.

Hotel rates vary based on type of room (single, double, and suite):

  • Single and double room: $94 CAD per night
  • Suite: $149 CAD per night

Low-cost on campus housing

Less expensive dorm-style accomodations are also available at the Royal Victoria College residence and is located a short 5 minute walk from the conference center.
